Connecting innovative worlds towards solid partnerships

Together with FR Minister of Economy Bruno Le Maire at the DLD Innovation Festival

Secretary of State for Foreign Trade Pieter De Crem and Antwerp Alderman Caroline Bastiaens are currently heading an economic mission to Israel. They are accompanied by Belgian companies that are active in the Cleantech sector and Digital Innovation.

On Wednesday 6 September, Secretary of State De Crem supports Belgian companies attending the DLD Innovation Festival in Tel Aviv. This event offers startups a unique opportunity to connect with investors and clients. At the Antwerp Business Seminar during the DLD Innovation Festival, Pieter De Crem emphasized that sectors such as CleanTech and Digital Innovation will play an ever increasing role in bilateral trade relations between Israel and Belgium. Both countries are among the most innovative in the world and our companies have extensive knowledge and expertise in these areas.

Our objectives are also the same: to provide a future-oriented and often technological answer to challenges that we are facing in many different fields, including those of energy, economy, mobility, and environment.

In the context of the DLD Festival, Secretary of State De Crem also had a meeting with his French colleague, Minister of Economy Bruno Le Maire.
